Achieving Excellence (Reflection)

Achieving Excellence

Well after the long 20 years that I have been gone I finally get to see my witty son Telemachus and got to do battle with him. For if I had his hand at battle it would have been one of the best choices I had made on behalf of the crew. During my time of revenge against the suitors, I finally had gotten the chance to battle along side my son. For he had become an excellent fighter, he grabbed a spear and had thrown it right between the shoulder blades of a mans back and protruding out of his chest and he knew well enough not to retrieve the spear for he could have gotten stabbed with a sword. He rushed to my sides and said that he would go and fetch some extra arrows, spears and shields. I was so proud of how he had known and understood exactly what to do during battle and what to do when I was in need of assistance. Even though I may be Odysseus, Son of Laertes one of the strongest warriors it was good to have an assistant especially since it was my brave son. I could not have asked for any better way to end that brawl against the suitors.
